The date was March 11, 2004, the location, Madrid, Spain. The carnage was unbelievable. Ten bombs exploded on four individual train compartments in the space of only a few short minutes.

As a result, human body parts were strewn for hundreds of yards in every direction.

Police and Public suspicion was that the bombings were politically motivated.

Thought to be in retaliation for Spain's participation in the war against Iraq—Al Qaeda was the obvious culprit.

No solid evidence however, tied any single terrorist group to the deadly bombings.

Meanwhile, friends and relatives of the dead and wounded tried to make some sense of it all—as inside the train station a make-shift morgue was designed.

Young Teen's Painful Suicide | Jumps from 100 Story Building

Every time I hear about a young person taking their life by suicide, a familiar song begins to play in my head. What if that person had just "hung on" a bit longer?

Maybe then, with a few more seconds, their train of thought might have changed for the better, or if maybe a few extra seconds may have allowed them a a more positive out look on their dire situation?

Or maybe someone on the ground, a loved one perhaps, could have said something to them—some words of hope perhaps, which may have changed their mind.

It's sad, that once the decision to jump is made, theirs no more second thoughts or chances to save yourself. What must that feel like?

Morbid Reality: Graphic Photos: 65-Year Old Murders his 15-Year-Old Female Lover in Cold Blood

The state of Alagoas is one of 27 states located in the beautiful country of Brazil.

Within the state of Alagoas, there is situated a municipality known as "Flexeiras."

With a population of only 11,905 souls—and bordered to the east by the magnificent yet unforgiving Atlantic Ocean—the town of Flexeiras is fast becoming one of the most violent places in the world per-capita.

With nearly twenty people murdered each month, most of them females, the town is especially dangerous, it seems, toward women. 

The photos below tell us another familiar but grisly tale.

The young girl, who cannot be named due to her age, but is shown below, was brutally murdered in her own living room last month—according to the source.

Age 15, the teenager was in the middle of a house party with friends, when, due to alcohol consumption, and jealousy, she was stabbed multiple-times by her unconventional lover, a 65-year-old man known only as "Anthony."

Police were immediately informed, and instantly pursued the senior-citizen/child-killer through the narrow Brazilian streets—where they located him nonchalantly strolling down toward the ocean.

The incompetent MPs, however, failed to arrest the miscreant 'Anthony' when he ran inside a nearby church—where he then slipped-out through a back entrance.

No further information was given.

Graphic Photos: Discretion Advised | Weekend Murder turns to Cannibalism

Note to self:

Never go partying near the Amazon River.

Because if the snakes and river monsters don't get you, the locals surely will.

Apparently, according to this linked source, a night of dinner and dancing not only ended in death this past weekend—but also with the victim becoming the main course.

The crime took place near Porto Velho, which is the capital of the Brazilian state of Rondônia, in the upper Amazon River basin.

Information from witnesses say the victim, Pedro Rodrigues de Oliveira, age 44, was with his wife at a local dance-hall party when the husband became jealous after his beautiful wife began dancing with a younger teenage boy.

An argument and brawl soon erupted with the boy being punched in the face.

Consequently, two of the boy's older brothers went home and armed themselves machetes, then, returning to the party, sought-out and killed the jealous hubby, Oliveira.

They then dragged the mangled body to a nearby thicket—where the act of cannibalism allegedly took place. 

One witness later told Police that the men had their "mouths covered with blood" and were cutting-up pieces of the victims flesh saying that "they had eaten the victim's brain matter."

Further adding that it tasted great and that they wish they hadn't got apprehended by Police, as they "would have loved to have eaten more. "

Graphic Crime Scene Photos: Machete Murder: "Live by the Sword, Die by the Sword"

An old adage from a popular book, written by sheepherders nearly 3500 years ago, tells us that if we choose to live our lives through violence towards others—then we ourselves can expect the exact same fate in return.

"Live by the sword, die by the sword"is a wise and excellent proverb—and one we should live our lives being mindful of.

Another one should be "Live by the bottle, die by the bottle."

For proof, we need look no-further than a dirt-top back road located in rural Mount St. Joachim—where an alcohol-fueled-confrontation turned deadly.

It seems the reaper, twice in two years, came to call on the exact same man.

The Military Police are investigating the murder of an ex-convict, 45-year-old Cicero Manoel da Silva

Da Silva—an obvious alcoholic who consumed mega-daily proportions of any beverage he could get his hands on—in an ironic twist of fate and a case of Poetic Justice died violently on the exact same country back-road where he was alleged to have killed a man only two years prior.

Released from prison until trial on his own recognizance and still awaiting his own redemption day for the aforementioned murder, da Silva went looking for trouble and found it when he met up with an old drinking buddy named by police as Genilson Severino.

After a few more beers, the two men and the party soon turned ugly—as drinking parties so often do; and away they staggered, heading out into the street to settle it mano-a-mano.

A battle then ensued and a large Machete was first pulled from the waistband of da Silva but was then wrestled away and somehow obtained by Severino—who then, with one-fell-swoop, delivered the coup-de-gras.

A swift and lethal blow to the neck severed the carotid artery of his friend, da Silva, who succumbed to blood loss nearly instantly.

The police are still searching for the knife-wielding killer, Severino.

Graphic Photos: Missing Teen Girl's Body Found Decomposed

The remains of a missing 16 year-old Rio De Janiero girl—identified as Christiane Silva, who had left her home last Friday evening to go meet some friends, has now been found.

Some neighborhood school boys, after going into a dried-up drainage ditch to retrieve their soccer ball, were first alerted by the putrid smell of decomposing human flesh...and then called for help.

Pulled from the ditch, approx., three-feet-deep—with blow-flies already attached and maggots—the girl's remains was taken to Police forensic headquarters where investigators then discovered an approximate time of death.

All taking place only hours after leaving her father's home, a Brazilian police task-force spokesman said the teen girl had been sexually assaulted, then both shot and stabbed numerous times.

The young girl was living with her father, Vitor Silva, who had the grisly task of identifying his daughter's partially-nude and decomposing body.

The Dad also stated he had warned the girl not to hang-out with 'bad company.'

He was right.

Coagulated and cold, pictured above, a warm stream of thick-red-blood seems to omit its own beautiful scarlet glow—as it oozes eerily from a head wound and then shines ominously in the police headlights.

There are obviously, located in parts of the beautiful city of Rio De Janeiro, in the country of Brazil, areas that are much more dangerous and notorious than those towns which were once glamorized in wild-western gunfights—such as Dodge City, Kansas, and Tombstone, Arizona.

Places where it doesn't take much, the wrong place, wrong time, or likely the wrong choice, and you become another cadaverous photograph pictured on a local crime blog.

The crimson-life-giving-liquid, shown in these photos, is draining from one of the many gaping bullet-holes in the cranium of yet another teenager gunned down earlier this week.

Seemingly just another rigor-mortis filled corpse lying in field for the crows to eventually dine on, the locals and police have obviously become desensitized by the violence.

Meanwhile, if you keep reading, I'll keep writing, and maybe one-day a human life may be saved.

Graphic Gore Photos: Vicious Machete Attack Kills Man Instantly

According to sources, an argument between two ex-convicts over drugs and money—which took place in broad daylight this past weekend—has resulted in a grisly death. 

One blow to the carotid artery following a vicious Machete attack and no ambulance is needed, as the 32 year old resident of São Paulo, Brazil, identified as Daniel Ferreira, died instantly at the scene and was then taken away in a police morgue vehicle.

According to police, the victim and offender—who fled the scene of the crime and is now wanted for murder—are both residents of a nearby halfway house for addicts at night and work with machete's in the forest during the day.

Graphic Gore Photos: Shark Attack Rips Girl's Flesh to Shreds

To the east of Sergipe, Brazil, lies the vast expanse of salt-water known as the Atlantic Ocean.

With a variety of water temperatures ranging between 12 and 24 °C (54 and 75 °F) fueled by the gulf stream, the south Atlantic is arguably the preferred home of the world's largest predatory fish—the shark.

Sharks are rabid feeders and expert prehistoric hunters who belong to a group of underwater killers, which include stingrays, and they are unarguably at the summit of their oceanic food chain.

Generally the shark will feed on marine mammals, or in the rare case, sea birds. However, relying mainly on its keen sense of smell, it will attempt to eat almost anything—including humans.

The above attack, according to the translated article, dated, February, 2013, occurred on a beach near the aforementioned Sergipe, at the Capital, Aracaju.

The victim, a 22-year-old Brazilian female, was swimming near the same spot where, according to sources, local fishermen from the area had previously reported seeing two great white sharks swimming in shallow water on Monday, December 10, 2012.

She was reportedly accompanied by female friends who witnessed the attack but could barely manage to get out of the water themselves before looking back in horror as the predator's razor sharp teeth tore through the flesh of their companion.
