Note to self:

Never go partying near the Amazon River.

Because if the snakes and river monsters don't get you, the locals surely will.

Apparently, according to this linked source, a night of dinner and dancing not only ended in death this past weekend—but also with the victim becoming the main course.

The crime took place near Porto Velho, which is the capital of the Brazilian state of Rondônia, in the upper Amazon River basin.

Information from witnesses say the victim, Pedro Rodrigues de Oliveira, age 44, was with his wife at a local dance-hall party when the husband became jealous after his beautiful wife began dancing with a younger teenage boy.

An argument and brawl soon erupted with the boy being punched in the face.

Consequently, two of the boy's older brothers went home and armed themselves machetes, then, returning to the party, sought-out and killed the jealous hubby, Oliveira.

They then dragged the mangled body to a nearby thicket—where the act of cannibalism allegedly took place. 

One witness later told Police that the men had their "mouths covered with blood" and were cutting-up pieces of the victims flesh saying that "they had eaten the victim's brain matter."

Further adding that it tasted great and that they wish they hadn't got apprehended by Police, as they "would have loved to have eaten more. "

Crime: Graphic Photos: Triple Homicide | Vigilante and Domestic Violence : Gore

Facebook is making news in Brazil after a picture surfaced online this past Monday of a man who had murdered both his 19-year-old ex-wife and their eight-month-old son.

Odair José de Oliveira Santos, 36, of Maiquinique, a town and municipality in the state of Bahia in the North-East region of Brazil, was a caretaker of the local city council.

According to Military police sources, Santos first phoned his house to speak with his former wife, Deborah Santos Lima, 19.

The substance of the conversation they had is not known, but apparently it did not go well—Santos left work and headed home.

This story now becomes an all-too familiar one—an angry husband seeks revenge on his wife for what can sometimes be the tiniest of reasons.

To summarize it for you: now running on his lizard brain only, Santos enters his family residence where a domestic quarrel immediately ensues.

The degree of violence between man and wife can be volatile. And, although the degree of violence and anger can sometimes a mystery, one thing is known for certain, it is exactly like the mercury inside a thermometer on a hot mid-summer morning—steadily rising as the seconds and minutes tick away.

It's also a fact that sometimes these domestic attacks are not deadly—however, for this particular case, it couldn't have been more brutal.

Upon Santos' arrival, his wife, Lima, ran into the family bathroom with her infant son—the husband, Santos, followed close behind and forced his way in by breaking the lock.

Santos only weapons were his bare hands and the concrete floor but that was enough. He began beating his teenage wife's skull against the rock-hard tile floor over and over until her pretty young body lay still and quiet.

Next, with his primate anger now accelerating rapidly and running full throttle, Santos turned to his beautiful young infant son, Erick de Oliveira Lima.

Raising the child's body high in the air, Santos began throwing him several times downward against the concrete.

After killing his wife and son the distraught man now had no one left to focus on—except himself.

Santos first attempted suicide by ingesting poison.

In the end, Justice prevailed. As Santos entered the street attempting his getaway, a mob of locals caught and then instilled on him their own brand of Brazilian Justice.

Vigilantism is illegal..but none-the-less, the angry mob killed Santos in the worst way possible—by 'stoning' him and pouring an accelerant over his body and then incinerating him in the streets for the world to witness.

Graphic Photos: Missing Teen Girl's Body Found Decomposed

The remains of a missing 16 year-old Rio De Janiero girl—identified as Christiane Silva, who had left her home last Friday evening to go meet some friends, has now been found.

Some neighborhood school boys, after going into a dried-up drainage ditch to retrieve their soccer ball, were first alerted by the putrid smell of decomposing human flesh...and then called for help.

Pulled from the ditch, approx., three-feet-deep—with blow-flies already attached and maggots—the girl's remains was taken to Police forensic headquarters where investigators then discovered an approximate time of death.

All taking place only hours after leaving her father's home, a Brazilian police task-force spokesman said the teen girl had been sexually assaulted, then both shot and stabbed numerous times.

The young girl was living with her father, Vitor Silva, who had the grisly task of identifying his daughter's partially-nude and decomposing body.

The Dad also stated he had warned the girl not to hang-out with 'bad company.'

He was right.

Coagulated and cold, pictured above, a warm stream of thick-red-blood seems to omit its own beautiful scarlet glow—as it oozes eerily from a head wound and then shines ominously in the police headlights.

There are obviously, located in parts of the beautiful city of Rio De Janeiro, in the country of Brazil, areas that are much more dangerous and notorious than those towns which were once glamorized in wild-western gunfights—such as Dodge City, Kansas, and Tombstone, Arizona.

Places where it doesn't take much, the wrong place, wrong time, or likely the wrong choice, and you become another cadaverous photograph pictured on a local crime blog.

The crimson-life-giving-liquid, shown in these photos, is draining from one of the many gaping bullet-holes in the cranium of yet another teenager gunned down earlier this week.

Seemingly just another rigor-mortis filled corpse lying in field for the crows to eventually dine on, the locals and police have obviously become desensitized by the violence.

Meanwhile, if you keep reading, I'll keep writing, and maybe one-day a human life may be saved.

Graphic Gore Photos: Vicious Machete Attack Kills Man Instantly

According to sources, an argument between two ex-convicts over drugs and money—which took place in broad daylight this past weekend—has resulted in a grisly death. 

One blow to the carotid artery following a vicious Machete attack and no ambulance is needed, as the 32 year old resident of São Paulo, Brazil, identified as Daniel Ferreira, died instantly at the scene and was then taken away in a police morgue vehicle.

According to police, the victim and offender—who fled the scene of the crime and is now wanted for murder—are both residents of a nearby halfway house for addicts at night and work with machete's in the forest during the day.

Graphic Gore Photos: Shark Attack Rips Girl's Flesh to Shreds

To the east of Sergipe, Brazil, lies the vast expanse of salt-water known as the Atlantic Ocean.

With a variety of water temperatures ranging between 12 and 24 °C (54 and 75 °F) fueled by the gulf stream, the south Atlantic is arguably the preferred home of the world's largest predatory fish—the shark.

Sharks are rabid feeders and expert prehistoric hunters who belong to a group of underwater killers, which include stingrays, and they are unarguably at the summit of their oceanic food chain.

Generally the shark will feed on marine mammals, or in the rare case, sea birds. However, relying mainly on its keen sense of smell, it will attempt to eat almost anything—including humans.

The above attack, according to the translated article, dated, February, 2013, occurred on a beach near the aforementioned Sergipe, at the Capital, Aracaju.

The victim, a 22-year-old Brazilian female, was swimming near the same spot where, according to sources, local fishermen from the area had previously reported seeing two great white sharks swimming in shallow water on Monday, December 10, 2012.

She was reportedly accompanied by female friends who witnessed the attack but could barely manage to get out of the water themselves before looking back in horror as the predator's razor sharp teeth tore through the flesh of their companion.

Morbid Reality Video: Brutal Truck Accident - Dying Man Bathed in Blood With Severed Limbs

Often times death from a car-wreck comes instantaneously and suffering is then kept to a minimum.

But not with this poor fellow.

The below video is said to have occurred back on Jun-6-2006.

The reason I'm posting it now is because it's one of the worst I've ever seen.

How bad?

It's extremely bad, and horrendous to watch.

The unfortunate truck-driver was inside a one-ton truck carrying rolls of fencing when he lost control of the vehicle.

Not only did he lose most of his cargo, but also his arm—which can be seen in the video lying on the asphalt with the hand and wrist still attached.

What else makes this crash one of the all-time worst?

Well, watching a dying man, who's still semi-conscious and attempting to vocalize his last words in his native tongue, most likely, Portuguese, is a gut-wrenching experience, to say the least.

Making guttural sounds which are sometimes called "death rattles" and bleeding internally while pinned to the truck's interior, the driver, soon to be a cadaver, wriggles around on the floor like a swatted-wasp who's about to be stomped on.

The grim-reaper is about to claim his remains, but not before his last words and dying image can be preserved forever...the way everything else is preserved forever nowadays, by cellular phone camera.

Graphic Gore: Bat out of Hell - Speeding Motorcyclist Collides with Car Head-On

"Speed kills."

How quickly do we forget that fact?

Answer: Too damn quickly.

Fifty thousand years ago we humans, like all other living mammals, were built by nature with a specific set of instructions. By nature's design, we were built to only travel as far and as fast as our two muscular legs could carry us...nothing more.

Nowadays however, even though our once-prehistoric body is still equipped, for all intents and purposes, the exact same as it always was, walking and running, yet our. The Amygdala primitive brain is still equipped with the exact same prehistoric software it always had—we foolhardily insist in engaging in activities that we were never designed for; such as flying through the air in planes and traveling over land at break-neck speeds in cars and on motorcycles.

Of course, similar to an illegal-narcotic, our brains adrenaline-receptors are stimulated by all of this dangerous activity. Yes, speed indeed kills. But the fact that we could die horrifically at any split-second only frightens us a little bit at first, and then—due to the exhilarating 'rush' that our body feels—that same adrenaline that frightens us, then quickly becomes our drug of choice.

For example, let's take the motorcyclist in the photos.

Adercio Francisco de Araujo, age 36, was a skilled motorcycle rider and thrill-seeker from Rio Grande do Piauí, a town and municipality in the state of Piauí in the Northeast region of Brazil.

For Adercio, riding on the back of a powerful beast was perhaps the greatest thrill of all.

Completely drugged by his own adrenaline, and with a slow moving truck in front of him robbing him of this drug, the motorbike's powerful engine roared it's lunatic suggestions into his awaiting ears.

Adercio then made the foolhardy decision that cost him his life. He twisted the throttle grip in his right hand swung the fragile bike frame out into the passing-lane and into oncoming traffic where he collided head-on with a Fiat Uno.

We humans seem to forget that we can quickly become road-kill ourselves—the same as any other living thing. And as the photos graphically prove, human body parts and remains were strewn across the steaming asphalt.

The driver of the car, Genisio Pinheiro da Silva, only suffered minor abrasions and was helped to the hospital.

The slow moving truck fled the scene and continued on it's way.

Personally speaking, as a father of two teenage sons who were born in 1993 and 1997, the hardest reality-crime-scene photos for me to view are those of murdered youths. Especially those of murdered teen boys.

There's no doubt in my mind that if either of my sons were ever murdered my sanity would die with them.

However, being mindful that possibly these photos might one-day shock somebody's child into ridding themselves of drugs, alcohol, and the violent world which goes along with it, the posts will continue.

Clearly, that one-single-saved-life, for me, would be worth more than money—or the number of internet-hits ever could be.

OK, on with the narrative:

Daniel Araujo Santos—an innocent 17-year-old boy—was, last Tuesday, lounging at an Internet café with his younger sister Rafaela.

Rafaela, age 14, who claimed she witnessed everything, said her brother was kidnapped—and had likely become the victim of mistaken internet identity.

The girl stated that 'three hooded men' burst into the cafe and, while holding him at gunpoint, took off with Santos in a silver colored vehicle.

According to Police, Santos was then taken to a remote area near a plantation in rural Penedo, Brazil, where he was taken from the back seat, forced to kneel down, and brutally executed.

Santos' bullet-riddled-body was not discovered until the following day, Wednesday, by local farm workers. He was shot numerous times through the face and the back of the head.

Police later found evidence of spent shell casings at the scene—two of which belonged to a .380 and a .9mm handgun.

The worst was yet to come however. Because, although Santos' himself would never again have the luxury of feeling human emotion or pain—his grief stricken family, who were summoned by investigators for the unenviable task of identifying their son's body, certainly would.

Contrary to popular belief, there are people in this fucked-up world of ours who will cut one's head off—especially if one happens to be involved in any illegal drug activity.

Take for instance the above charred remains which is believed to be that of Cleiton Silva Gentil, a fugitive who's accused of drug trafficking, robberies and bank robberies.

Found by workers in the rural area of ​​Rosewood, this past Tuesday, March 18th, in Uruçuca, a town and municipality in the state of Bahia in the North-East region of Brazil, the headless-charred corpse, suspected to be Gentil's, will now be DNA tested along with a human head which was found in another separate location last Sunday.

If the Police are correct in their assumption, and the head and char-coaled body do indeed belong together, then, if you'll pardon the pun, the headless man, Silva Gentil, can now be 'pieced back together.' 

Unfortunately, however, it won't do him much good at this point.

Say no to drugs.

Graphic Gore: Murder Suicide Photos: Love Hurts

Apparently the word 'Love' in Portuguese means 'Forever.'

After 12 long years of marriage—which saw constant arguing, jealousy and physical violence, the lives of a young Brazilian couple came to an abrupt and gory end this past weekend.

The husband, 33-year-old Herlen Santos, upon discovering his wife, 30-year-old Katiana Pinheiro, had cheated on him again—after she had promised not to—became insanely jealous.

Sending his two sons, age 11 and 12, out of the family home and to their grandparents house, Santos then grabbed a knife and began stabbing his wife multiple times in the head, arms, and throat.

Once that dirty deed was done, Santos ran to a nearby gate, climbed the railing and dropped his full body-weight downward on one of the vertical iron rods. 

Needless to say, the gate post penetrated his neck like a harpoon, and Hubby was left floundering in the air like a grotesque half-nude voodoo doll.

Warning Graphic Death Photos: Sex Offender gets Justice from Hell

Two juvenile offenders from a Brazilian institution for minors called 'Funase,' located in  the city of Caruaru, were not having any Fun last week, if you'll pardon the pun.

According to the police report translation, the pair became embroiled in a violent prison riot between rival gangs located inside, and outside of the institution.

One of which attempted to gain better access by using a *gridiron to smash a large hole through the solid-concrete wall. (flat framework of parallel metal bars seen in the yard photo) 

The rebellious gang-members then—using only bare-hands, clubs, and rocks—killed two inmates inside.

Total chaos then erupted as Military Police were called in to surround the building to prevent a mass escape.

Dead are Cicero Marcelo da Silva, 17, a convicted rapist from Agrestina, and another young man, convicted drug-trafficker Manoel de Souza, aka "Arrim" also 17.

Both teens were murdered in the worst way possible.

Finally—perhaps as a warning to any other rapists in the city—the air was filled with the stench of burning human flesh as one of the young offenders then received what could be called poetic-justice-from-hell. 

The sex-offender had his lifeless-cadaver lit on fire and burned to a toasty crisp.
